A former Harris County corrections officer has been sentenced after being convicted of a crime. The officer, Jaylin Sherman, was found guilty of striking an inmate with handcuffs. As a result of the conviction, Sherman received a probated jail term. Additionally, Sherman's TCOLE license was revoked.
