The City of Magnolia contracts with GFL for collection inside city limits, with routes split by FM 1488: homes north of FM 1488 have trash Tuesday and Friday with recycling and heavy trash on Friday; homes south of FM 1488 have trash Monday and Thursday with recycling Monday and heavy trash Thursday. Carts go out by 7 a.m., and service issues go through the city's utility department first.
